Uncompromised printing solutions - FESPA Digital 2016

Thieme FESPA Digital 2016

At the FESPA Digital 2016, THIEME will be demonstrating how customised printing systems are developed for industrial production processes

Teningen/Amsterdam, March 2016  –  The process determines the printing machine's appearance, and not the other way around: At the FESPA Digital, set to be held from 8 - 11 March in Amsterdam, THIEME GmbH & Co. KG, Teningen, will be presenting its innovations as a technology provider for industrial screen-printing and digital-printing systems. Based on proven components, printing systems can be configured and perfectly adapted to the customer's process.

Industrial printing is process-oriented so that the usage of standard machines frequently forces undesirable compromises. Not so at Thieme: "Users must accept no compromises with us", says Oliver Beck, Head of Thieme's Printing Systems Sales. "We configure every printing machine, regardless of whether screen or digital printing, including options and automation, under consideration of the specific conditions and particularities in the customer's production process."

This is made possible by Thieme's universal machine platform which represents the results of many years of machine-construction and experience with applications in screen and digital printing. Numerous highly-developed components are already available; from the printing head to the automatic feeder all the way up to the camera system for quality control. In contrast to conventional – and often expensive – special machine construction, this modular system based on proven components offers both customised and cost-effective machine development.

The customer is not bound to any special ink types, even for digital printing. As an alternative to standard ink systems, the Thieme machine platform supports industrial ink systems from independent providers and has developed a secure integration process for this. "This ensures the customer that all of the quality features which are important to them are considered in the later production process," explains Oliver Beck.

Smooth integration of the printing machine in the production environment
Thieme does not just develop the printing machine itself, however, but rather also handles the integration of this central element in the production environment, for example by using customised transport and automation systems. "Starting with the customer's printing requirements, we handle the development of the complete printing system, which optimally considers the particularities of the production process for manufacturing the desired products," promises Oliver Beck. The reputation as the "Mega-Integrators" has already been gained among groups of users. This is because smooth integration of the printing system is decisive for the productivity of the entire manufacturing process.

Interested professional visitors can find out themselves at the  FESPA exhibition stand just how flexible the Thieme platform concept can be. There, they can configure their dream machine step-by-step on the "Printing machine generator", an interactive video screen, with the support of the Thieme consulting team. A THIEME 500 D digital printing machine will also be exhibited.
